Issues regarding 教师 members
PG电子官方平台注册 encourages students to meet with their instructor to attempt to resolve any issues and concerns. 然而, if a concern cannot be directly resolved with the 教师 member, students may pursue a complaint by progressing through the administrative channels by contacting the instructor’s department chair, 教务长, and the Vice President for 学术事务.
English Proficiency of Instructors
It is the policy of PG电子官方平台注册 that all who provide instruction at the University shall be proficient in written, 听觉, 和英语口语 so that they may adequately instruct students. PG电子官方平台注册 has established procedures to ensure that 教师 members have proficiency in written, 听觉, 和英语口语.
A student who believes that an instructor is not sufficiently proficient in written, 听觉, or spoken English may file a written complaint with the Vice President for 学术事务. The identity of the complainant(s) shall remain confidential. Anonymous complaints will not be accepted.

Appeals of final grades follow a specific procedure. That procedure includes a hearing before a 级上诉 Committee, appointed by lot by the Chair of the Academic Appeals Committee (a University Committee), and is composed of 教师 and students.
Issues regarding Distance Education courses

If the concern has not been adequately addressed, Oklahoma resident students may appeal the complaint with PG电子官方平台注册’s SARA state portal agency http://www.okhighered.org/current-college-students/. Complaints to External Agencies

FERPA
学生 have the right to file a complaint with the US Department of Education if the student believes that the University has failed to comply with the requirements of FERPA. The complaint must be made within 180 days of when the infraction was discovered, and there must be sufficient evidence to prove the violation.
